I’m Sandy Holly, a modern-day gypsy with a suitcase full of stories and a heart that never stays still. I’ve never lived in the same place for more than five years — and after fifty trips around the sun and all fifty states, the name Star Spangled Gypsy just seemed to fit like a favorite pair of traveling boots.

I’m a thick, black coffee drinker — the darker, the better. Two cups minimum before I’m ready to move, function, or form full sentences. You might think Sandy Sunshine wakes up spouting rainbows and butterflies, but truth be told, I don’t sparkle ‘til caffeine and Jesus say so. ☕✨

If we’ve ever met, you already know my laugh — it’s big, boisterous, and completely contagious. Within five minutes, you’ll either be laughing at me or with me… and honestly, I don’t mind which, as long as you’re laughing.

I’m a travel junkie through and through — the kind who actually loves airports. The hum of suitcases rolling, the swirl of strangers, the local art tucked between terminals — it’s magic. I’ll sip coffee in the clouds, marvel at the view, and smile at the beautiful chaos of it all.

I’ve called six states home, and whenever anyone asks my favorite, my answer is always the same: wherever I am right now. These days, that’s Apollo Beach, Florida — where sunshine meets salt air and tropical dreams inspire my designs.

Star Spangled Gypsy was born two years ago out of a love for color, creativity, and the thrill of the open road. It began with me designing fabrics and adorning one-of-a-kind pieces, and has grown into a full collection designed straight from my heart to yours.
